RolePlay

The Sewell Barn Company presents ‘RolePlay’ by Alan Ayckbourn at the Sewell Barn Theatre, Constitution Hill, Norwich, NR3 4BX on 14th - 16th and 20th - 23rd October at 7.30 pm. with a matinée at 2.30pm on 23rd.

The master of modern comedy returns to the Sewell Barn stage bringing us a blend of unique humour and subtlelty, with darker social undertones.

A successful, but hopelessly mismatched, young couple try to come to terms with their flimsy relationship and the inevitable pressure from family dogma and tradition. This isn't helped when an important family dinner party is interrupted by a runaway lap-dancer and her pursuing minder.

We have a limited number of theatre places for people using wheelchairs: if you will require one, please let us know in advance.

Pre booking your tickets.
As you are probably aware Jarrolds store is now handling our Box Office for us and we do hope that the central location will make collection of tickets easy for our patrons.
We are however aware that one or two of our regular audience members have been concerned about the fact that we are now requesting that tickets should be paid for in advance. Due to the fact that we now enjoy a high take up of tickets we have found that from time to time in recent months we have turned people away as we have sold out, only to find people have not arrived to take up their seats, thus causing disappointment to those turned away, and a loss of revenue for us.
We would therefore find it extremely helpful if you would pay in advance by sending a cheque to Customer Services (made out to Jarrolds) and we will be happy to have your tickets ready on the door for you on arrival.
If for any reason you have been unable to pay in advance we must remind you in accordance with the practice adopted by other venues, tickets not collected by 7.15 pm will be offered to anyone waiting in a queue. We do ask for your understanding in this matter, and look forward to welcoming you to our performances in the future.

Free Car Parking.
There is plenty of free parking available at the front of the theatre including designated spaces for disabled people.  Please park in two rows parallel to the front of the theatre.  If this area is full there is on-street parking on Constitution Hill and neighbouring roads (please take care not to block gateways).
