| The Sewell
Barn Company presents ‘Cymbeline’
by William Shakespeare at the Sewell Barn Theatre,
Constitution Hill, Norwich, NR3 4BX on
25th - 27th and 30th March and 1st - 3rd April at 7.30
pm with an additional performance at 2.30 pm on
3rd April.
An unmissable opportunity to encounter the charms of Shakespeare's vibrant
tale of tested love. When his beloved daughter marries against
his wishes, Cymbeline, King of Britain, banishes his new son-in-law, Postumus,
to Italy.
What follows is a gripping and moving story of temptation, deception
and reconciliation, set against a backdrop of war between Britain and
Rome.
Shakespeare's penultimate play has a touch of everything, bringing together
marvels and magical poetry with horrors, comedy, love and legend.

Pre booking
your tickets.
As you are probably aware Jarrolds store is now handling our Box Office
for us and we do hope that the central location will make collection of
tickets easy for our patrons.
We are however aware that one or two of our regular audience members have
been concerned about the fact that we are now requesting that tickets
should be paid for in advance. Due to the fact that we now enjoy a high
take up of tickets we have found that from time to time in recent months
we have turned people away as we have sold out, only to find people have
not arrived to take up their seats, thus causing disappointment to those
turned away, and a loss of revenue for us.
We would therefore find it extremely helpful if you would pay in advance
by sending a cheque to Customer Services (made out to Jarrolds) and we
will be happy to have your tickets ready on the door for you on arrival.
If for any reason you have been unable to pay in advance we must remind
you in accordance with the practice adopted by other venues, tickets not
collected by 7.15 pm will be offered to anyone waiting in a queue. We
do ask for your understanding in this matter, and look forward to welcoming
you to our performances in the future.
Free Car Parking.
There is plenty of free parking available at the
front of the theatre including designated spaces for disabled people.
Please park in two rows parallel to the front of the theatre. If
this area is full there is on-street parking on Constitution Hill and
neighbouring roads (please take care not to block gateways).
